Educational Short Video Competition
Educational videos have become in recent years an effective educational tool for advancing in regional anaesthesia field. RA-UK support innovation and want to recognize the talent and passion of regional anaesthetic enthusiasts.
- Shoot and send, one short (less than 60 seconds) educational video about any aspect of regional anaesthesia or POCUS.
- All videos will be displayed in the exhibition area of the ASM in Bristol on 7th & 8th May 2026 and available to be watched by attendees and on social media feed.
- Judging will be a combination of expert panel, social media and interactive audience poll.
- The videos must have been produced in the twelve months prior to the ASM and not been previously publicly displayed.
- Videos must last less than 60 seconds.
- Any regional anaesthesia or POCUS topics are welcome; however, the videos must have an educational content.
- At least one author must attend RA-UK ASM.
- Please avoid referring to any brand or society that promote any regional products.
Submit your original video by 23:59 on the 27th March 2026.
Please email your video with the subject line 'RA-UK VIDEO ENTRY' to ffionskelding@eventmanagementdirect.co.uk, or if your file is too large to just send via email you can submit it through WeTransfer.
- 1st Prize: 1 year RA-UK membership and £200.
- The three finalists will receive the respective winner certificate.
- The video will be published on the RA-UK website, X and social media feed.
Infographic Competition
Infographics provide an excellent platform to showcase regional anaesthesia or perioperative ultrasound concepts in an efficient, easy to interpret, creative, and colourful way. In a world where we can be easily overwhelmed with data and complex information, infographics provide visual information in a way that is easily understood and retained. Presenting information in this manner is crucial for the future of education in regional anaesthesia and perioperative ultrasound.
- Select a topic related to regional anaesthesia or perioperative ultrasound. Be imaginative!
- Think about how you can present this information in a visual format.
- Design your infographic.
- Your infographic should be aesthetically pleasing, eye-catching, and contain as few words as possible. The following websites may offer useful tools and tips:
- When selecting images, ensure that they are properly cited (must be creative commons, public domain, or taken/designed/drawn personally).
- Infographics must be your own original work.
Please note that Infographics are non interactive and will be displayed on a large plasma screen.
In order to the enter contest, at least one author must register for the conference.
