I trained in Glasgow but  have worked in North Carolina for the past 27 years as a regional anesthesiologist. I have an interest in techniques to prolong analgesia including early work on peripheral nerve catheters and now studying techniques involving neural modulation for acute pain. I serve as Treasurer of ASRA Pain Medicine.
